History

Degree Incorporated is a residential and commercial HVAC/R contractor. We offer commercial refrigeration service and installation, residential and commercial gas and oil heating, air conditioning, air filtration, water heating equipment and IAQ. We offer 24 hour emergency service to our customers.

Degree Incorporated was founded in 1993. We have open accounts with all HVAC suppliers in New England for fast parts procurement, allowing us to get your equipment up and running quickly.

We are factory authorized dealers and the trusted service company for many manufacturers including Carrier/Bryant, Mitsubishi, Scotsman, Hoshizaki, and more, and are rated A+ by the Connecticut Better Business Bureau, we have never had a complaint filed with the Department of Consumer protection.

Our Team members attend professional training classes throughout the year, and attend many Manufacturers seminars at supply houses.

Many of our technicians are NATE Certified (North American Technician Excellence), the leading certification program for technicians in the HVAC/R industry, NATE is the only certification program supported by the entire industry.

Our Factory authorized Bryant status requires us to track customer satisfaction through a third party system and we have a 96% total satisfaction rating.

Some of our accounts include large distribution warehouses, numerous gas stations, liquor store chains, and countless retail, professional and residential customers. We also service critical medical equipment in locations throughout the Hartford Area. We provide service to some of the largest management companies in the area on their facilities.

We are environmentally conscious and reclaim all refrigerants as required by law, and recycle our office paper, oils, mercury containing controls, cardboard, and scrap metal. We are also well versed on high efficiency equipment, indoor air quality, environmentally safe refrigerants such as PURON, humidification, commercial refrigeration and much more.
Our Unlimited Contractor license number is 394791, our Sheet metal License is 0004383. We are fully insured.

We take our customers information protection very seriously. We never give out customer information, our computer system has several layers of protection, and we use a certified shredding agency for all office documents.
